Position and Responsibilities

In this pivotal role you will be responsible for the overall corporate strategic sourcing program and leading a team executing that program. As a key contributor to the strategic management of corporate spend, you will pursue value-creation opportunities and drive maximisation of the resulting benefits. As a knowledgeable expert you will lead the development of Cameco's strategic sourcing capability around best practice-based methodology. Based on corporate objectives, you will develop and manage the execution of annual and multi-year strategic sourcing plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or a related discipline
- 12 to 15 years of experience in various areas of supply chain management
- Five years of hands-on experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives
- Leadership experience with direct supervisory responsibilities
- Applicable certification such as SCMP, CPSM or equivalent
- Experience with SAP for spend analytics purposes
