Job Description

If you are a Purchasing and Procurement Manager looking for a new contract opportunity that could evolve into a full-time position - we want to hear from you today!


Our client, a Not-for-Profit organization based in Downtown Toronto, seeks a resourceful and collaborative Purchasing and Procurement Manager for an immediately available opportunity.


The Purchasing and Procurement Manager will have a very good working knowledge of procurement best practices such as PO, RFP, Tender, Sourcing, and Building a Supply Chain and will adhere to procurement protocols such as maintaining transparency, integrity, fairness, and accountability in every aspect of the process. As Manager, you must be able to implement a change management plan, create presentations and communicate changes to an internal team. With direction from senior leaders, you will be required to develop corporate procurement contracts, maintain the corporate procurement library to ensure that signed contracts and agreements are maintained, and renewals for agreements are tracked.


About You:


The Purchasing and Procurement Manager will have 2 or more years of proven experience within a procurement and contract coordination role. Stellar writing skills, excellent grammar and a solid understanding of Outlook, Merx, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must.


Our client is looking for an individual who is resourceful with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Those who possess keen attention to details, deadlines and results and who have the ability to work within a fast-paced environment will be given preference.
