Part-time Inside Sales and Service Representative

Your new company
On behalf of our client Acklands-Grainger inc. (AGI), we are searching for an experienced Inside Sales and Service Representative to support the branch business by driving profitable sales growth and customer service through understanding customer needs and providing solutions for their businesses.

Your new role
Located in St-Laurent, Quebec, you will be responsible for liaising with customers on a daily basis, responding promptly to all inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, whilst selling diversified line of product via phone, fax, email and over-the-counter, promoting Private Brands, NTS and eCommerce channels whenever possible. You will manage and process customer orders through the computer system, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery, whilst supporting the sales team through up selling, service, pricing, delivery and inventory inquiries; maintaining a well-rounded knowledge of products sold and promoting AGI products and services.

You will equally play a role in assisting with day-to-day duties in the warehouse. These will include packaging and preparing orders for shipment; storing products promptly as shipments arrive; assisting in inventory duties on as needed-basis.

The role requires you to work 24 hours per week, on a Monday to Friday schedule.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this excellent opportunity, the ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience with demonstrated strong work ethic and personal commitment to get the job done. You must be functionally bilingual (English and French), with an emphasis on French. You will have a strong sales aptitude with knowledge of industrial and/or safety products, with superior interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills to effectively build relationships.
