Associate Director, Supply Management

Purchasing Services provides procurement and supply management services to the University community.  The department is committed to establishing a best-in-class procurement services and supply management team that is a reliable, solutions oriented partner. Reporting to the Director, Purchasing Services, the Associate Director,  Supply Management will play a key role in leading the department toward achieving its goals of operational and service excellence. The position will provide vision and leadership in the planning, development and implementation of supply management strategies related to sourcing, procurement, business process optimization, and contract management.

We would like to hear from you if you possess a University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related discipline. A professional designation, such as SCMA or CSCP, and an MBA or Master’s degree, together with a balance of private and public sector procurement experience are preferred. A minimum of eight years relevant experience, plus demonstrated management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.

An employee in this classification is excluded from the bargaining unit as defined in the Labour Relations Code.
