About the Purchasing Manager

We are now planning to expand our business and looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to help with our new business needs. The ideal candidate will manage and direct our purchasing activities for profitable cloth materials and other related accessories.


$41.5 to $43.5 hourly for 35 hours per week

Main Job Duties

Plan, establish and develop policies and procedures for purchasing staff to follow to ensure effective costs control, quality of goods, on-time shipment, stability of supply chain etc; Monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures; develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of company requirements; Research on customers feedback, trend and market changes and take prompt actions in securing most updated products information such as specifications, prices, warranty details, vendors’ reputation and reliability etc.; Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers, maintain relationship with current supplies at the same time; manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability; Coordinate with other departments in reviewing and evaluating relevant policies and procedures; Negotiate with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers on purchase contracts and resolve disputes if necessary; Performance manage, develop, train and motivate purchasing staff

Review and process claims against suppliers; Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures; Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services; Oversee the preparation of reports; Oversee the analysis of data and information; Manage contracts; Authorize the development of specifications for products or services; Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs; Advise senior management; Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
