Seeking candidates for a distinguished organization in the Pharma packing industry.


OfficeTeam is looking for a Quality Assurance/Control Manager. Responsible for ensuring a product or service meets and maintains the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • review, edit, update and/or draft quality assurance policies and procedures based on activities
  • interpret and implement quality assurance standards
  • evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards for Health Canada and Clients
  • devise and maintain procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
  • review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
  • plan, conduct and monitor inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
  • perform and document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
  • investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
  • develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
  • identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
  • coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
  • evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • monitor risk management activities
  • responsible for document management systems
  • assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
  • maintain site licensing
  • assist in research and application of additional licensing
  • review process documentation for accuracy
  • perform materials quality inspections based on client requirement


About You:


  • Certifications in Quality Assurance or Quality Control
  • 1 or more year of experience 
  • Quality inspection and auditing experience
  • SOP development and implementation
  • Document tracking
  • Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
  • Packaging, product and pharma industry-specific experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases
  • Ability to learn and use site project management programs (will train)
  • Knowledge of concepts and methodologies of QA
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with interactions with Provincial and Federal Government bodies
  • High level attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills ? English a must
  • Data collection, management and analysis
  • Problem analysis and problem solving
  • Planning and organizing
  • Ability to work in a Team structure
