Overview:

 

Our client in the Halton Region, is looking for the immediate assistance of a Purchasing Clerk for a full-time opportunity within their team. The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for the purchase orders, logistics, and inventory. 

The responsibilities of the Purchasing Clerk may include but are not limited to: 


*Prepare purchase orders
*Verifying specifications of purchasing requests 
*Maintain purchase orders 
*Maintain vendor files
*Maintain vendor relationships 
*Logistics: pickup and delivery, freight, customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers
*Invoicing 
*Review authorized requisitions and inventory reports
*Compile records of items purchased or transferred between departments

 

About You:

 

The ideal candidate sought for this full-time position will have 2 or more years of experience in a similar role, excellent attention to details, deadlines and results, and the ability to multi-task in a high volume environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must.
