- Coordinates with vendors, sales team, warehouse, logistics, sourcing and customer service to obtain required goods within the parameters of the customer’s deadlines.
- Works within the Purchasing Team assisting with the day-to-day purchasing functions; incoming and outgoing orders, and administrative functions.
- Researches and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
- Provides routine administrative support.
- Creates purchase orders for the acquisition of materials.
- Confirms delivery dates, pricing, item specification and shipping details.
- 4 or more years of demonstrated experience working in procurement.
- Must be proficient in performing computations with speed and accuracy.
- Excellent organization and follow up skills.
- Must have the ability to expedite and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and computer abilities including excel and outlook plus experience working with an ERP system.
