Overview:

 

  • Coordinates with vendors, sales team, warehouse, logistics, sourcing and customer service to obtain required goods within the parameters of the customer’s deadlines.
  • Works within the Purchasing Team assisting with the day-to-day purchasing functions; incoming and outgoing orders, and administrative functions.
  • Researches and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
  • Provides routine administrative support.
  • Creates purchase orders for the acquisition of materials.
  • Confirms delivery dates, pricing, item specification and shipping details.

 

About You:

 

  • 4 or more years of demonstrated experience working in procurement.
  • Must be proficient in performing computations with speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent organization and follow up skills.
  • Must have the ability to expedite and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer abilities including excel and outlook plus experience working with an ERP system.
