Working with our client, OfficeTeam is actively seeking a proactive and highly organized Logistics Manager to join its team. This is a full-time position located in Downtown Toronto. The successful candidate thrives working in a dynamic, cross-functional fast-paced environment and is willing to learn the business inside and out. The Logistics Manager will oversee and lead logistics across the organization’s distributive businesses.


Key responsibilities involved will include:


  • * Review cost and performance of current carriers and develop cost efficient recommendations
  • * Communicate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and customers regarding shipments, arrival times, pending delays or missing information 
  • * Ensure process documentation for imports and exports are completed according to procedures and customs regulations 
  • * Respond to all incoming inquiries from internal and external stakeholders 
  • * Analyse inventory level and oversee inventory transfer shipments to different warehouses 
  • * Develop, measure, and evaluate performance metrics and provide improvement solutions
  • * Explore and address quality control of products during shipments


About You:

  • * Post-secondary education is Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business or a related field
  • * 3 or more years of experience in a managerial/supervisory role
  • * 5 or more years of experience in logistics
  • * Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • * Able to use professionalism and sound judgement when interacting with internal and external clients
  • * Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to manage a team
  • * Bilingual Spanish, an asset
