Working with our client in London, Ontario we are actively recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant with 1 or more year of proven related experience and who has a can-do attitude to be a part of a fast-paced, rapidly growing team. The Purchasing Assistant will be assigned a broad array of responsibilities with this office including various office support and administrative task. If you embrace taking on the tasks of mail merging, pivot tables, and presentation design, we want to hear from you today!
This is a long-term temporary assignment in the London, Ontario area.
Key responsibilities involved will include backing various projects for other employees and providing team support such as completing word processing, filing and faxing.
- Knowledge of procurement
- Solid understanding of purchasing
- Deep understanding of numeric data entry
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- 1 or more year of proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant
- Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software as well as databases and customer database systems
- Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks
