OfficeTeam is seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator with an ability to work independently in a rapidly growing team. A long-term temporary opportunity, this Purchasing Coordinator opportunity is located in the Vancouver, British Columbia area. We are looking for candidates who are available to start immediately!

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Source materials
  • Generate purchase orders
  • Receive items : prepare items for shipping
  • Verify accuracy of ordered items
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors
  • Post invoices

About You:

 

 

  • Candidate must have substantial computer experience including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of branch administration
  • Contract negotiation
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
  • Must have SCMP
  • Purchasing experience required
