Facilities Manager

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes.


Facilities Manager Job Duties:

The Manager will oversee all daily operations of the facility from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.


Key Responsibilities Involved:


  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
  • Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
  • Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
  • Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop shipping staff
  • Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
  • Commit to facilities safety procedures
  • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
  • Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements
  • Influence and learn from below
  • Stay up to date with latest production, distribution management best practices and concepts


About Us:


  • High School diploma and/or equivalent experience is required 
  • 5 or more years of experience in a Warehouse/Facilities/Distribution related role required, preferably in a Technology or Electronics related industry 
  • Strong commitment to deadlines and work ethic - taking accountability and ownership to overcome roadblocks to ensure Customer Promise Dates are met 
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, demanding, and rapidly changing environment without close supervision 
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with fellow team members, clients and other internal departments 
  • Flexibility to adapt and accept various tasks to ensure the overall team objectives are met 
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
