Food Purchasing & Uniform Coordinator role with A&W Food Services of Canada Inc.

The Food Purchasing & Uniform Coordinator provides proactive data analysis and administrative support to the Senior Director, Purchasing, the Director Food Purchasing and Uniforms and the Manager, Food Purchasing.  The role reports to the Senior Director, Food Purchasing and works closely with representatives of A&W’s corporate Purchasing and Distribution, Marketing, Accounting and Operations teams as well as with operators and external suppliers. The Food Purchasing & Uniform Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of analytical and administrative tasks that require superb numeracy, organizational and interpersonal skills.

An energetic self-starter with abundant common sense the candidate must possess superb quantitative analytical skills, a high level of personal accountability and excellent organizational and influencing skills.  Passionate about customer service and building effective relationships, the candidate must have a strong drive for results, a proactive style and the ability to work accurately with details in a fast-paced context without losing sight of the big picture.   Curious and able to work independently, the candidate must have the ability to anticipate issues and the insight to know when to escalate issues that impact the system. A resourceful problem solver and team player who is calm under pressure and able to multi-task with ease and accuracy, the candidate must have sound judgement and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities.  Preferably, the candidate has had at least 2 years of experience a customer service, administrative or business support role. Ideally, the candidate has completed a post-secondary degree in Commerce or Business Administration.  It would be an asset to be fluent in English and French.
