The Restaurant Equipment Coordinator supports all A&W restaurants, new and existing, by providing estimates, procuring items and expediting and problem-solving services on equipment, décor, and signage orders. A member of a small, dynamic team, the Restaurant Equipment Coordinator works with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including franchisees, restaurant staff, suppliers and representatives of A&W’s Supply Chain & Purchasing, Design & Construction, Operations, Accounting, and Marketing departments.

 

The ideal candidate is a proactive, positive and resourceful problem solver with sound judgment, a strong drive for results and a deep commitment to customer service, collaboration and sustainable solutions. A flexible and effective multi-tasker who listens to understand, the candidate must have the capacity to maintain a calm and approachable manner in a busy, fast paced environment. The candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication, numeracy, influencing, and computer skills, and the ability to work independently and as member of a collaborative team.  The ideal candidate has completed an undergraduate degree in Commerce or Business Administration and has had at least 2 years of office experience in a dynamic setting.  Familiarity with working with collaborative software tools, such as the Google Suite of products, is desirable. It would be a significant asset to be fluently bilingual in French and English.
